JCI Startup & Commissioning of SSE Controls

Pre-requisite: JCI Intro of SSE Controls

This course will cover the Startup & Commissioning process of the JCI-SSE Controller for the unit’s designed application with a focus on the different Fan Control Types. i.e. Fixed Variable (Intelli-Speed), Variable Speed (VAV), and Variable Speed w/SZVAV.  The course starts with a quick review of the SSE Control Boards. The student will receive instruction on how to pull the necessary information from the submittal documents to configure the SSE Controller to operate the unit as specified. This process will include instruction on how to obtain the actual unit air flow, necessary board configuration of Fan Control Type parameters, along with proper configuration of factory and/or field installed options. Multiple unit submittal examples are furnished for the Technicians to practice with.
