Overview
Texas Motor Speedway is the fifth largest motor racing venue in the world and the second largest in the country with a capacity of 181,655. Located in the northernmost portion of Fort Worth, Texas, it hosts IndyCar, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup, Xfinity Camping World Truck series races, concerts and more.
Texas AirSystems was contracted during the start of the speedway’s new construction in 1995. Basis of design called for over 200 AAON rooftop units to handle heating and cooling for the suites – which, at the time, was the single largest AAON order in history. Completed in 1997, Texas Motor Speedway included Luxury Suites above the main grandstands as well as The Speedway Club, a nine-story building located above Turn 1.
According to President of Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage, “Texas Motor Speedway has looked to Texas AirSystems for our HVAC equipment needs since the initial construction of TMS over ten years ago. We have found them to be both a reliable and cost-effective source for our HVAC equipment who continues to provide the level of customer support we require.”
